During their time with us, the students were fully integrated into our operational ecosystem, allowing them to move beyond theoretical learning and actively participate in day-to-day agricultural practices.
Purpose of the Program
The Field Practical Training (FPT) Program designed to serve as a strategic bridge between academic training and practical agricultural application. Its primary purpose was to equip students from BORIGARAM AGRICULTURE TECHNICAL COLLEGE (BATC) with hands-on experience that complements their theoretical knowledge. Through immersing participants in real-world farming operations, the FPT-project aimed to deepen their understanding of modern agricultural systems, enhance technical competence, and prepare them for immediate contribution to the industry. Another key objective was to strengthen the employability of participants by exposing them to current industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
The program also sought to cultivate critical soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving capabilities that are essential for navigating the increasingly complex and evolving agricultural landscape. Ultimately, the FPT program aligned with ASI Co. LTD’s broader mission of fostering innovation, promoting sustainable agriculture, and developing a pipeline of skilled professionals who can drive productivity and food security in the region.
